I have been using for the last five years. I have been happy with the ease of use! Great program!

Being walked through each question and having the option of asking for more help makes me feel confident I'm not forgetting anything and that I'm answering the questions correctly.

Overall well done, and I was holding my breath in the hopes that my return wasn't already filed by thieves as it has been the prior two years...........I would definitely work on the PIN given by the IRS section - at first when going through the actual filing process, it went to a page that kept asking for a 5 digit code and I have a 6 digit code - finally figured it out, but that may need a little extra work, since it is already frustrating to have to race against time to file before they do!

What's great about it: easy to understand, quick, informative
What's not so great: didn't volunteer state tax rtn since I didn't e-file it - still needed to print it out and mail - it did it last year??

It's a Breeze!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I love that it:
- populates my current year tax forms w/ basic information that doesn't change year to year - but gives me ability to update;
- compares past years numbers w/ current year
- gives me the choice to walk through my entries step-by-step or to enter as I wish (I've used this to easiliy analyze how certain income streams or deductions affect my taxes)
- the instructions are simple, concise and managible - considering how complex the tax codes are
- I appreciate the abiliy to do my own taxes, it's a time to focus on my financial habits and to plan smarter.

Issues

Forced to buy the business version again this year when I would be happy to put the numbers in myself for a Schedule C.
Missing filing addresses again this year.
All of the business inputs have moved. It is difficult to find the correct spots because the program keeps kicking me out of the "interview" for the particular section. I had to enter many things into the forms by hand.
What's great about it: Forms and calculations completed for you
What's not so great: Every year things get moved around so they are not where one would expect. No mailing instructions

Excellent product, have used it for several years

We have a farm and I use Quicken Deluxe to track expenditures throughout the year. When I'm preparing our taxes with Turbo Tax, our farm expenditures transfer quickly and accurately. Turbo Tax also transfers the previous year's pertinent data.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: More help on state tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2015 Taxes

Have been using Quicken products since 1996, maybe that qualifies me as a fanboy, I like how intuitive Turbo Tax is. It helps speed up the process by updating the data from the previous years forms to the current forms. Great product. Now if only Intuit was more Macintosh friendly I would definitely be a fanboy for life.
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and I really like how it transfers last years data in the new years taxes
What's not so great: none
