No sweat tax preparation

I love Turbo Tax. I have used it for years like over 8 years. My son tried a competitor's program and he had nothing but questions. I told him to redo his return using Turbo tax and he did it in no time. Keep up the good work
What's great about it: easy to follow, you can do on your own or have the program ask you questions.

Finished 2015 Return

This is about the 20th year I have used Turbo Tax to file. At this point I would not consider any other software. Despite the sometimes confusing and/or unclear questions, I continue to find Turbo Tax to be reliable and efficient.
What's great about it: All I have to do is answer questions and enter information
What's not so great: Questions can sometimes be unclear and confusing requiring a great deal of time to understand exactly what is expected.

Not up to Previous Years' Standards

Had difficulties with the program placing the figures provided in the interview process for K-1 into the appropriate boxes on the forms. Resulted in double counting carryover losses so that next year's carryover is nearly twice the size as should be. Had to go in manually to take care of the errors and had to pay a tax accountant to assist with that.
Also the state form was not well done, NC. There were items that should have been asked about. But even in Ohio the state form which included local taxes left something to be desired.

What's not so great: Not all the figures flowed to the correct form boxes in the K-1

I've used Turbo Tax Personal and Business for years and have always found the programs to be helpful and accurate.

Not intuitive. Would probably be easy if the user were a touch typist Court Recorder, CPA with an IT background.

2015 tax mess

Was just going to say, "don't go changing it to make it better". Most tech folks do that and they just screw it up for us users.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has always been great for me and was again this year. Sure saves lots of time and headaches. Don't go changing

IF YOU OWN A SMALL BUSINESS THIS IS FOR YOU. IT WALKS YOU THROUGH THE WHOLE RETURN AND MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER TO FILE.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE. WALKS YOU THROUGH THE RETURN AND HELPS FIND ERRORS.
What's not so great: SOMETIMES HARD TO GO BACK TO A SPECIFIC FORMS

What's great about it: OK but Audio Expamples were Better
What's not so great: Not as effective at Directing Your Own Sequence OK for EZStep
