I really like Turbo Tax ! Good helpful hints, good ability to backup. The review checks were very helpful.
The support people were all SUPER ! Easy to get on the phone, and they were very skilled and knowledgeable !!
What's great about it: It was fairly easy to learn; Support people were SUPER !!
What's not so great: it's not an easy thing to learn, but overall, understandable

TurboTax is awesome

This is an awesome tax program. I've used it many years and it keeps improving. It allowed me to save my forms as a PDF so I can mail them in. It has great flexibility. Way to go!
What's great about it: It's well laid out and easy to navigate

Know What to Expect

I'm a LONG TIME user. Turbo Tax allows me to plan ahead and accurately estimate my tax liability so I don't overpay and ensures I get every deduction I'm entitled to. If I've forgotten a deduction, I can add the entry and the program updates the entire return automatically. I still rely on a tax expert and the IRS for more complicated issues. But I like preparing the return myself to stay informed about changes in tax law and to help with tax planning.
What's great about it: Turbo tax allows you to understand your tax liability under different tax & income scenarios.

Random Form Generation

As in previous version, this one also seems to generate random forms and schedules that are caught during review, saying they have either wrong or missing information.
What's great about it: Straight Forward with easier navigation than in the past.
What's not so great: Links to real IRS documents, and generation of random forms and schedules.

Turbo Tax Home and Business - great product! Just one thing - when I revisit a topic, it presents new screen, making me go over the entries again as if new. I would rather have it present the screen of my previous entry where I can view my initial entry.
What's great about it: Thorough and easy to use
What's not so great: Show me earlier entry when I revist a topic

trying to find source of entry can be frustrating

Generally good. But I spent hours trying to find the source of a field I needed to change. When I'd right-click on some fields, rather than allow me to go to the form that the field was filled out, there would be a text explanation that was not helpful. I ended up having to delete a bunch of forms and starting them over because I could not find where the original number was entered. Very frustrating.

What's not so great: hard to find source of data entry in some cases
