PAYMENT SOFTWARE SUCKS

TAX STEPS ARE A BREEZE UNTIL YOU GO TO E-FILE AND THEN IT ALWAYS GETS HUNG UP ON THE PAYMENT FOR FILING. NOT GOOD AT ALL.
What's great about it: EASY STEPS
What's not so great: PAYMENT SOFTWARE SUCKS & CANT FILE - 2 YRS IN A ROW

made for people who don't want to think

I don't like that Turbo Tax wants to pick a depreciation convention for me. I know which convention is best for my overall tax situation. you should be able to change the default if you want to.
What's great about it: easy to use if your return in simple and you don't want to think for yourself
What's not so great: difficult to handle small business depreciation

Better last year than this year

I not sure what changed but I found it harder to follow this year than last. My wife and I both get K-1's from our businesses. We both have unreimbursed business expenses. I also work 100% out of my home, and I don't think I actually got the correct deduction and couldn't figure out how to get it properly.
What's not so great: You changed the format somewhat and I don't understand why.
