Satisfied with Turbo

Loved the simplicity of Turbo Tax for Home and Business. I would recommend having a quick reference guide to the different business codes, so that people can look at them and type in their code. I had to go on Turbo tax help forum and find the question. Luckily someone had answered the same question, and it didn't take too long to figure out. :-)
What's great about it: Step-by-step guided process was simple and preferred
What's not so great: There were a few questions/areas of inquiry that were confusing

Needed to see last years info side by side. If it had that it would make things easier.

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have found it very reliable. I have had the results checked by professional services and they have not found anything better.

Easy Despite the Details

Just take a deep breath and click the "Walk Me Through" buttons. Within a couple of hours (providing you have all your documents together) you'll be filing your taxes!

What's not so great: Granular Detail is Terrifying!

Time Consuming

I am a CPA that does a few returns on the side. The program is affordable and does the job, but it is very time consuming with an endless amount of questions that you must go through to get to the screen you need.
What's great about it: Affordable
What's not so great: Cumbersome

Faulty error checking

I started the final review and got down to a persistent error which told me that I had a Cyexp value still marked as excellent. But the displayed form that it guided me to use to unmark as estimated was my schedule F. In fact, the values marked as estimated were on the expense sheet for my schedule C.
What's great about it: Excellent, with one exception
What's not so great: Faulty error checking
