Good, but would have missed deductions and income

For nearly a decade I have had the same CPA that prepares my S corporation's taxes prepare mine. The cost had gotten out of control and I wasn't understanding what was going on my return. Turbo Tax was super helpful in walking me through the return. However, I would have missed significant income and deductions had I not printed out the 1040 and schedules from Turbo Tax and compared the return against the 1040 the CPA had prepared the prior year.
What's great about it: Being walked through step by step through the return
What's not so great: Certain sections assumed knowledge that I don't have, especially AMT

What's not so great: Link to page requiring correction and explanation would be helpful

Excellent program... use it every year... nice way to keep consistent and compare year over year. Easy to use, easy to jump around.
What's great about it: Easy to understand... thorough ... like the refund ticket at top
What's not so great: minor glitch in other expenses... doesn't remove last year categories

The Joy of filing my taxes with Turbo Tax 2015

Enjoyed the process and now have a much better grasp on my finances
What's great about it: Really quite simple. Read the questions and fill in the blanks with your data files
What's not so great: Takes a wee bit more time than advertised but if you have all the required info you should be able to accomplish the tas

Turbo Tax 2015 Easiest Yet

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. This was the quickest and easiest return I have done. The questions were clear and concise for the most part. There seemed to be a few expense categories which asked for the same expenses. While I knew better than to duplicate the expenses it was a little unclear which was the correct category to use.
I particularly like the comparison to the previous years return. The only improvement to that would be if you could see the breakdown of the previous year. This would help to keep similar expenses in the same categories from year to year.
What's great about it: Quickest and easiest walk through yet. Easy to get back to details to edit.
What's not so great: No problems really. Some expense categories seem to request the same items. That was a little confusing.

Get Your Update Act Together

I was very disappointed this year as there was a problem with the software that came on my disc. It would not update. I found a patch for the federal return but there was no patch for the states and there was no information to help. I file three state returns and getting them updated to file cost me hours and hours of extra time. Made me want to use some other provider's software but I had already inputted 4 returns into TurboTax before I knew the extent of the problem. Please get it fixed for next year I am using Windows 10.
What's great about it: Person was able to help
What's not so great: State Returns Did not auto update and it was a nightmare
