Good, but needs to import data on joint return

I liked the way it interfaced with the IRS forms and showed where there were errors. This is our first joint return and it would have been much easier if TurboTax imported data from both spouses. Also instructions on joint returns a little unclear.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good prompts, good interface with forms
What's not so great: Didn't import information on one spouse when filing joint return the first time

Great Product

If you have the time this product is great. I would like to see it speed up in the future. I would buy it again. It made my life easy.

As Usual - Simple, Easy, & Thorough

Overall a great product. The only downside is when there is a specific question regarding a unique situation, although the 'community' is available sometimes you need to speak directly with someone regarding the unique situation/circumstance for clarification.
What's great about it: Step by Step
What's not so great: if questions arise, answers can be a bit vague

over all a good experience using turbo tax instead of going to those once a year hired hacks at the mall
What's great about it: it appears to be easier this year compared to last year - alot more automatically added or forwarded to the new TAX year
What's not so great: need a little more explaination but still a good application

Smart Check needs help

Smart Check gives you a series of items or errors to correct but no way in which as easily correct them. Why not provide a link to what you are talking about. Because I am completely confused. How about some additional information? If I have to be an accountant to use smart check, its not that helpful. So far I have had to use your AWESOME team of pro specialists (accountants)- The 2nd tier. They are wonderful and went out of their way to help. Particularly Mary Ellen! Fun to talk to, too. It felt important to her to help me. I so appreciate it!
Oh, ALSO, please fix the gray scroll down bar on the right side of the screen with turbotax MAC software. It is constantly disappearing and very hard to activate. Especially from "Forms". I was often chasing it and often wouldn't come up.

The TurboTax customer support people I spoke with were very accommodating and helpful. We did experience a roadblock in installing TurboTax onto my Windows 10 laptop and, as a result, I needed to call Dell customer support and have them fix the problem. Once Dell support fixed the problem, TurboTax ran smoothly.
What's great about it: My phone calls to TurboTax were very helpful in resolving various tax issues concerning sale of rental property.
What's not so great: In experienced problems installing TurboTax onto my Windows 10 laptop.
