Just used 2014, and despised the crippling of Deluxe and Premier. A longtime Deluxe user, I moved up to Premier and found I STILL didn't have Schedule C and had to go yet another level to Home and Business. A HORRIBLE decision for your brand.
Regarding comparing filing JOINTLY with filing SEPARATELY, I believe I remember being able to click the "Married Filing Separately" checkbox and see the difference in the refund, but that is very complicated [now], and not worth the effort it takes.
I like the way I can quickly ignore multiple items that don't apply to me, with your quick dashboards preceding each section.
What's great about it: Excellent software
What's not so great: 2014 crippling and comparing JOINT with SEPARATELY.

Everything went well until I was ready to file. The program kept wanting me to e-file my state return (for a fee) and never gave me a clear way to print and mail my state return. Very unfriendly.
What's great about it: quick and thorough...except one thing

I have used Turbo for years. I am getting better but I sure wish that Turbo and Intuit would have better tutorials on youtube. I am baffled on how to link quicken and turbo. In fact I have bought Quicken but don't use it since the interplay between my bank and the software is very difficult. Calling my bank by phone seems backwards.
What's great about it: It guides you through the forms
What's not so great: I had trouble transferring last years information and I wish there were more "youtube" tutorials

We have sold rental property in the past and in the rental property area it asked if you sold THIS Property then took you down that pathway. Took a lot of very frustrating time before we finally found it in other business sales. Oh well, it did get done.
What's great about it: Gives you the option of selecting topics or going down their long but complete step by step process
What's not so great: Could not find where to report sale of rental property
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Love the software. Seems every year I have difficulty in identifying/locating my return. Of course, I muddied the waters by having two different email addresses.
What's great about it: Step by step, so many good features and great support
What's not so great: Hard to identify previous returns on my PC
