I haven't used Turbo Tax in forever and used an accountant for the past 15+years. Glad I listened to my wife and friends and gave it a try. Easy to use and it takes you through the steps and process in a logical fashion. I am sold.
What's great about it: Ease of navigation, thorough

The Best Tax Software Out There!!!!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1987 Home + Business
Never had a problem, if I had a question, they were there to answer it......

What's great about it: Easy to use, simple to file, best bang for your buck!!!!!
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

What's great about it: See review title. Efficient. Audit protection built in. No piles of paper.
What's not so great: Don't see any at this time. If a more complex return needs to be processed, this product might not be all that's needed.

state tax rejected

Have had continued good results with Turbo Tax until this return.
After first reject ("if subtraction code box = to R, form 1099-R must be present) , I contacted Turbo tax , but the person could not help me and I never got to anyone who could help....Finally getting back to my tax problem today... upon opening tax file there has been another update. Did a review again, (Turbo stated all errors fixed), I filed again....waiting to see it if goes this time!...I'm due a refund.

If you want to understand why you have to pay or can't deduct something this is a great program.
I've used tax companies in the past may safe you money if the person knows what their doing. but it will cost you and you will not have any idea how income tax filing works.
What's great about it: easy to use, especially if you allow it to step you through every step.
What's not so great: sometimes it hard to find all the items you need to file out
