Over all this was the best year yet - even though my taxes get more complicated.
My one complaint as <Cons> above was that over and over it would ask me a question that it already had the answer for - and when I guessed (usually wrong) it would tell me a should review my answer - just tell me what it thinks the answer is in the first place & I'll agree or correct - don' t keep making me guess wrong. Vehicle placed in service date, whether or not I had a NOS etc.
What's great about it: Appreciated that I didn't have to mail forms along with e-file
What's not so great: I had to guess for some info from last year that was already carried over like date of vehicle put into service
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Unhappy with State Individual LLC filing

There were several times when Turbo Tax kept implying that I would also have to purchase Business - but then flipped and said no, okay for Home and Business, Unclear, and deceptive.
1st the 568 form filings were more complex than the State said I had to do for a single member. 2nd the directions by Turbo Tax were confusing and random. 3rd. If I need to file a 568 and 3522, then I expect it to be done with Turbo Tax along with the payment for it would be included in the Turbo Tax process, but you don't so now I will probably miss the deadline and have to pay a penalty because you were not clear, and not complete for a business filing. Ca FTB says I am required to e-file and you are now forcing me unexpectedly to mail.

Gets Easier Each Year

I would download the program, but when I need to reload because i have a new computer or need some information, it is very difficult to download again and there is a charge after the 2nd download.
I have kids, but they are grown. The question didn't allow for that answer.
What's great about it: I found it easier to get back to places I wanted to go.
What's not so great: Still not really easy to go back and make corrections

TurboTax Grows with You!

Ive been using TurboTax for nearly 20 years and I love how the product has grown and changed with my lifestyle changes. I started using TurboTax when I was Single, no dependents or deductions needed back then. Then I got Married and changed my filing status to include my spouse. The next year came a baby and I upgraded to the Deluxe version and learned how to add deductions and dependents! TurboTax guided me through each change as I encountered them.. The Deluxe version suited my needs for about 10 years. Then I started my own business and upgraded to the Business version of TurboTax. It has helped me distinguish the finer points of the difference between a Schedule C and a Schedule E business. TurboTax has developed and changed throughout the years and has given me an excellent product and support.whenever I needed it. I plan on continuing to use TurboTax as long as I can and am letting it help me plan my retirement! Way to TurboTax! Dare I say it? I actually enjoy doing my taxes with TurboTax and look forward to each April 15th!
What's great about it: TurboTax changes and grows with your personal changes in life1
What's not so great: I wish I'd get a new disk every year rather than having to download the product.

No Rocket Scientist Required!

TurboTax has been the tool of choice for years! You are guided through the process, asked the pertinent questions and given advice along the way. It couldn't be any easier!!!
