Good but needs work

Turbo Tax worked well and I recommend it. It is the only software I use.
However I have a number of concerns:
1) Turbo Tax for Mac does not allow importing data from Quickbooks for Mac. It would make things easier. There is definitely a bias against Mac.

2) Turbo Tax does not take into account where one divorced parent is deducting the children but the children are on the other parent's health insurance. The worksheets keep showing the kids on my insurance.
3) Also, it does not take into account married but filing separately and the health insurance.
What's great about it: Easy interview questions
What's not so great: Needs to take into account divorced parents

Great program quick and easy! I started a home business and this program made it so simple it has served me well I have used it for the past 5 tax seasons and it only get better every year!
What's great about it: Carry over from previous years return
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 4 years. It is so easy to use and seems to be up to date with all possible deductions. Would recommend that everyone use at least once.

Let me down in the 11th hour

Lost my data at 11pm before filing. Why the heck wouldn't you have auto save build into the system. I saved today but lost information from days and days ago. Have to rethink this next year. Did not populate my 1015 with 2014 data when I first started. worst year for Turbo tax. What has happen to them.
What's great about it: I have used for years and have liked it.

-Making Ohio to a part year residence was a huge challenge.
-Why put local district tax forms. I am not sure if Turbo Tax filed, because I filed at the local site. I am being taxed 2 X?

What's great about it: Regular stuff incredibly easy to use, Great questions lead you to the right answer
What's not so great: Moving and trying to use part year resident a challenge in state return

Once again, extra charges

This is the second year in a row the promised free state return turned into an extra charge. Very frustrating to say the least. Also, due to your traffic jam my taxes were turned in late. I couldn't process payment and had to complete all sorts of technical work then restart to complete my taxes - now late. I would have been done at least 5 minutes early otherwise.
What's great about it: If I had more time, there are many resources I would use.
What's not so great: Each year when it says I get a sate return for free it doesn't happen! I pay extra!!

I Spent 1/2 a day trying and wiring to download on my toshiba laptop, did not work. I used my macbook and it went straight to download.
Also the 6 digit code for profession, I had to google it. And if it is material or cash ... only that section though. Otherwise, it made me so proud that i did my own taxes. Yeeepeee.
