Saves Us EVERY Time

Overall, with as complicated as taxes really are, Turbo Tax REALLY helps. It's a great step by step process and could almost not be easier. I remember paper tax preparation and that was a nightmare. Going to an accountant just cost us our return money (never as much as what TurboTax helps us find).
What's great about it: So easy to go through step by step
What's not so great: When an "error" occurs, the description of what to do is not very clear

On the last day, with a couple of hours left...I am able to input all my expenses and income and simple, just follow instructions and DONE!

Great and Easy!

This is a great tax software for first-time users and for tax veterans! It will guide you every step of the way. If you are more experienced, you can skip the detailed step by step instructions and directly work on items that you know are relevant to your situation. Highly recommend it!
What's great about it: Very easy to use; like the graphics, and the easy access explanations of items

Got the Job done, but Glitchy upon final purchase

I've been using TurboTax for a few years. It is usually a helpful software. The last two years I had issue finalizing my e-file payment and had to wait 2 hours on the phone to resolve the issue. When I finally got to the final page, I kept getting an error for a form I never filled out (that was unnecessary for me). I like the software, but intuit has some serious bugs to fix.
What's great about it: Quick, Descriptive on all details
What's not so great: Would not Accept Credit Payment unless over phone, glitchy added forms

Would have given 5 stars, but entering health insurance premiums via the questions under business expenses and under the new health insurance menu don't "link" or indicate a duplication and therefore doubled the amount reported.
What's great about it: organization, comparison to prior, flags, on-demand help
What's not so great: new features or unusual circumstances sometimes quirky

A little buggy but makes tax prep a breeze

Easy, predictable, kept up to date, tracks all those little details. You do have to have all your ducks in a row before you start: we use a master spreadsheet, so all the numbers are ready to go. Otherwise you have to go back and forth as you hunt for things and you're likely to miss something.
What's great about it: Comprehensive, does the calculations for you, knows the laws.
What's not so great: Constant recalculation of tax due is annoying

I tried several times to pay for Audit Defense Service, but the system would never take any of my cards.
I finally cancelled that order in order to do my efile.
I would REALLY like to have the defense, but your system simply sucked.
What's great about it: easy to finish, as always
What's not so great: could not pay for audit defense.
