Under the Wire

I am a long time user and find each year is easier and smoother to complete than the year before.
What's great about it: Flow for inputting the information had the feeling of another person there with you
What's not so great: Additional or newly requested information should be identified earlier to prevent having to stop and hunt for it.

simple to use, quick pop outs, provide answers to questions, click a few times and ..... your done!!!! I think this is a great product.
What's great about it: Covered everything I needed for personal and business return

TurboTax has done it again!

I've been using TurboTax for almost 25 years now. It only gets better. Features that continue to improve and make my life easier like automatically downloading my W-2's and investment information are invaluable. I appreciate being led through step-by-step to correctly document and calculate the taxes for my employee stock purchase plan shares. But then I can step out and look at the actual forms if I need to. This is always a chore and I can see improvement in the program each year. Thank you TurboTax!

What's great about it: Walk through step-by-step + learn more with examples
What's not so great: Did not ask for partial saves. Good to avoid redoing everything in the case of a system crash

Keeps getting better and better!!

overall, the program does keep improving. Since I do taxes (for free) for my family, the license issue to prevent fraud catches me every time. I would like the option of adding additional electronic filings. Given that I have nine siblings in the family, I don't know if I can purchase more filings....I'm not a business, just a large family.
What's great about it: Ease of use, detailed explanations and programming
What's not so great: investment account information rarely populates correctly

Prepared My Tax Returns!

I was very impressed with the apparent thouroughness of TurboTax and the interview format. I became disappointed when I tried to e-file and could not purchase two of the state returns, e-file fee and Audit Defense with my credit card. Reluctantly, and in order to e-file my Federal & State returns by the deadline, I agreed to allow my personal information to be given to third parties in order to have the cost of additional products & services deducted from my refund.
What's great about it: Interview format for completing everything was excellent!
What's not so great: Your website would not allow me to purchase additional returns, e-file & Audit Defense with my credit card
