2015 tax filing experience

The software worked great I worked on taxes off and on for about 2 months and their were no issues. I've been using TT since 1995.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Be more open about fees

Really Complete and EASY!

SO easy! Love this software. Every year it gets better. No way would I spend hundreds more going to a CPA who will use the same kind of software to figure out my taxes!
What's great about it: Albe to connect to my online brokerage account
What's not so great: none
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Some good, some bad

When it came time to save the entire return, the Turbo Tax system wouldn't let me save it to turbo tax because last years was already saved with the same name. Last year's had so many problems after filings it was extremely difficult to retrieve the information and print it.
What's great about it: Love all the questions
What's not so great: don't like having to continuously put in 2 passwords and answer a question to save

Not so comprehensive

My IRA includes after-tax contributions. TurboTax program used to "remember": this and open form 8606, transferring the basis from the prior year, asking me the 12/31 balance, and calculate the taxable portion of my IRA withdrawals. Didn't do this last year, and when I looked also for the last two. So I've paid unnecessary taxes.
What's great about it: Flexible input easy to use
What's not so great: Hasn't picked up carryover items

So unhappy with Turbo Tax this year

I have used Turbo Tax for years but this will be my last. We had a system issue with my computer. I called and the 1st representative was amazing. I called back and she could not help me. When I called back tonight...not only did I pay for the same state 3 times in the process of getting my taxes filed, but the man on the phone was rude. At the end, when his system died and he had to hope it rebooted correctly...he was a little kinder. Overall....worse tax experience.
What's not so great: Poor customer service and over charged.

My 2015 taxes are done!

Loved the forms index and the JUMP to entry would have liked it more if it worked
Once the #s were entered or imported from Quicken it was very difficult to go back and adjust them
The charity contributions section was difficult to work with Had to delete the charity to correct the amount
Need to be able to go from the form to the interview section for that line
