No refund this year but ...

I have been using Turbo Tax for a long time now. But it took two years to get comfortable with it, I did both a paper return and an electronic return with Turbo Tax those first two years - remember, it was in the early days of the internet and the software only came on a disk then. Now, it is like an old friend. I get hit with the alternative minimum tax - AMT- each year. With paper, it was a nightmare! You did your federal taxes and then you did them a SECOND time for the AMT. Now, Turbo Tax just does it in the background. Other thing I love - I don't have to worry about the math. I had a return with a math error back in the old days and it was a headache to fix it. I also use It's Deductible. It is February 6 and I just finished all my taxes! What a great feeling to be finished except .... my son is in the Marine Corps overseas so now I have to complete his taxes. But his are straightforward compared to ours and Turbo Tax with get me through it. Great product !
What's great about it: Accuracy and all the info is easy to find - one stop shopping.
What's not so great: Wish there was a way to use it all year long ... not have it published late in the year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Been Using For Years!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I've used it for my husbands sole prop. business and now my sons. Very easy to use!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbox Tax 2015 is extra secure and extra helpful so you can complete your tax return quickly.

2015 Return

I have used TurboTax for years. This year I found it to be a little more cumbersome to complete than previous years. However, because of the thoroughness of the program I will continue to use it for the coming years.
What's great about it: Detailed

Need to have a "save as" in file menu

Needed to have an option to save the return in a different location than automated "save" option, so that the return could be saved elsewhere. Also, would have been nice to save it as a PDF file elsewhere.
What's great about it: almost as easy as previous years

We did not get a request for a survey of Susan H's attempt the solve our problem, as Susan indicated we might. However, we do want to give her Top KUDOS. Susan was not only professional and product savvy, she was also very patient and pleasant. She worked closely and encouragingly with my husband David, trying to copy our Turbo Tax 2014 onto a thumb drive from an old Windows XP program. Susan made enough attempts with explanations as she went, that after time well spent, we started to understand enough of how and what Susan was trying to accomplish. So after hanging up with her, we decided to shut everything down and start over. My husband went through her instruction step by step again and it worked. We had already spent a couple full days trying to get 2014 Home & Business downloaded onto our new computer with Windows10. We needed to transfer and secure the carryovers and the business assets to our Turbo Tax 2015 along with other applicable information. Naturally, I lost everything I had already loaded into 2015, and, yes I had to start all over. But I did so with a big smile on my face and mentally thanking Susan H and my husband a zillion times for their patience and understanding of my problem. Susan H was, in our opinion, a God sent.

What's not so great: Filing seemed a lot easier last year, but I still like Turbo Tax
