What TURBO RTax missed this year

On the real estate I accidentally hit ASSET NOT at risk. THat erased all my entries of THREE hours !!!! So I had to refill ALL the data NO easy task. Why copuld you just return my data which is still loaded when I UNhit that entry???
THEN you sent my returns ourt WITHOUT letting me Correct the lack of my NYS drivers license date NOWWWWW I am may get stuck with late filing.
Next year for the first time in 10+ years I will ook at oTHER tax software products.
What's great about it: greta easy to use softWARE as always
What's not so great: you guys erased my WHOLE data for one button hit wrong

Overall good, Restricted Stock was difficult

What's great about it: general ease of use
What's not so great: No forms online, mediocre Restricted Stock approach

2015 Tax Yr. Filing Almost Over

Good product. I find it most helpful when I must cover income tax areas that are new to me or not recently used by me.
What's great about it: Ease of understanding and meeting filing requirements new to me by using Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: Navigation back to prior sections completed...then back to continuing point can be frustrating. Process improving.

Turbo Tax is pretty straightforward if you've used it before, or have a basic understanding of what the rules are and how they apply. For a first timer, read each question well. They aren't always clear on what they're asking if you don't read carefully. Subsequent years are much easier, as you can see exactly where you had deductions the 1st year, and add things like home purchase or had a baby. Started with Macintax in the 90's, and still have the CDs to prove it.
What's great about it: Fast and easy if you have done it before. Harder for first time fself ilers like my SO
What's not so great: Doesn't explain well different situations. I donated to a political campaign, but it made me remove it without explaning

The Product is worth 10 times the price. It saved me many hours and maximized my deductions

taxes are complex- TT helps

I've used TT for years. I suspect I'd pay a tax professional nearly 1K for my taxes, and it would still require a lot of time on my part. I've got businesses, a home office, investment income and rental property and TT keeps track of depreciation and prior year info. This would be a nightmare if doing this manually.
What's great about it: really useful for small businesses and keeping track of prior year info
What's not so great: some areas are still confusing
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved
