I was told state e-file was included and then charged!

Always dependable

Been a customer for almost 20 years. Have to say there has never been a disappointment in the lot. Easy to use and as deep as you want to go. The different resources (including *gasp* "planning") have always been a plus. Don't think I want to rave necessarily but I have looked at others and ultimately nothing beats TTax - a gold standard (and deductible!)

to the top and they have to scroll down the page to get the next menu item. it's annoying.
What's great about it: farely easy to use
What's not so great: when working on a menu page near the bottom whenever one leaves the item they are working on the menu page jumps back to
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It kept asking me to review the personal information implying that something was not correct. Checked it at least 20 times and found nothing wrong, so i filled any way. The same thing happened on my state return for a section asking about nonrefundable credits. I had a retirement savings contribution credit on my federal, which was not carried over to my state and I could not figure out exactly where it went on my state return so i left it off maybe costing me $400 in state taxes. just couldn't find the help or the right information on it. Those were the only things frustrating about the program

What's not so great: did not carry everything to state return

Good but still needs a bit of work

Some of the explanations were still had to understand. I'm sure they're written by accountants but they really need the 'Napoleon's Idiot' test - get a person who has never spoken Accounting-ese and write the explanations so that they can understand them without having to ask any questions!
