Super easy and convenient!

I don't know what I'd do without TurboTax each year! I own my own business and it's super complicated with all the information that is needed in addition to my husbands' income as well. TurboTax walks me through each step and I feel confident that I am getting the most out of my return.
What's great about it: It goes step by step and walks you through.
What's not so great: Sometimes it is a bit tricky to find certain parts.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

ok but lousy for LLCs

If I'd known how worthless it was for LLCs I'd have probably just used paper to file. Does not handle disregarded entities well, absolutely fails on important state forms for LLCs, it assumes LLCs have rentals (which is common but far from the only case). It should explicitly ask more about the entity and give better guidance into where to enter income, and should fill out the state forms (ftb 568, 3522, sch k-1, etc).
What's great about it: good for generic wage and investment income
What's not so great: does not handle LLCs worth a darn, esp in CA

Gave me a migrane...

I don't know what happened this year, but my experience using this product was Terrible! I have been using this product since 1993, when it was called, "MacINTax". I found the software so user friendly so I would buy it every year.
This year although I would save the data I entered, when I would open it back up, the data wasn't there. I'd have to re-enter it two or more times. YUCKY!
I hope you can fix these glitches, because I'd like to stay loyal to the Intuit Turbo Tax product.
What's great about it: Quick filing. That is AWESOME!
What's not so great: There were so many program glitches this year, it made the experience terrible!

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it very helpful in a very stressful process. Writing this at 8:09 on 4.28.15 so great tool in a pinch.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, obtain updates., see tax rules, understand process
What's not so great: Non that I can think of

when I entered data in the 1b boxes, it would come up as 1 25.50 and 2a 2550. etc. Until I thought to go to the actual forms, it was very difficult to erase and correct this. It was rather unsettling for a period of time / but all worked out fine in the end.
What's great about it: sane, rational, lucid, and relatively fast
What's not so great: I had trouble entering some data; maybe it was my keyboard
