Great product.

TurboTax has always worked for me. Easy to jump from guided, to self-guided to forms. Filing taxes is never fun but at least TT makes it efficient.
ItsDeductible could use some work. The search does not always find items. Sometimes you must search for the category to find an item. For instance, to find "suitcase" or "briefcase" or "luggage" you must search for "case" under Luggage, Backpacks & Cases.

Totally do-able

Love this program, I use it every year. The only thing I'd change is the interview style has crossed over into too long.
What's great about it: Easy to use on most items, lots of option spots where you can click in to see more info
What's not so great: A little too much repeating/stopping/starting. Things like a whole page devoted to "OK--let's get you a great refund!"

Love this program

I love it for the all the work it does, and history it tracks, but I don't like that with each chapter (1 of 10, 7 of 10), it doesn't return to the next chapter. I have to scroll down each time. Not a big deal, but should be easy to fix.
What's great about it: Consistent, current and helpful
What's not so great: Doesn't return to the exact category when you click continue

State return wouldn't move passed an imaginary business. Tried everything I could think of to eliminate the non-business entry it was looking for. I finally typed in "computer glitch) and "0" income. hope this doesn't kick my return out.

California HSA Employee Contribution Deduction

Going through California HSA deductions, it tells me that W2 box 12 has code W which means employer contribution (even though I contributed 80% of it with pre-tax money). It says the amount is added back in as taxable income. Why is my portion taxed? i thought it was not supposed to be.
