Excellent Tax Program

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 14yrs and never had any problems. The program is easy to use and is always up-to-date with IRS guidelines.

Turbo Tax 2015

Whether you are a first time user or a long time user, the most important thing is to keep a good set of records during the year. If you have any kind of business and don't use a bookkeeper, buy yourself a copy of Quicken Personal/Business. It should help at the end of the year by keeping track during the year. I have been using Turbo Tax since the early 1990's and have never experienced a problem and they have significantly improved the ease of use since the early days.

Another year done.

Have to buy the most expensive Turbo Tax Version just to report babysitting income for my wife. Don't really use most of what's included in this upgrade. Also had to pay for E-Filing Wisconsin State return. On the online free versions the State E-Filing is advertized as free. Why would the people that have to pay for the software have to pay for State E-Filing when the people that don't pay don't have to? Doesn't seem to make sense.
What's great about it: Seemed quicker this year.
What's not so great: Getting Expensive, had to pay to E-File State Return

AFTER 4 YEARS OF USING TURBO TAX I FEEL LIKE A TAX PRO.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: TIME CONSUMING
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall I am very satisfied with TurboTax and have been using it for many years. As long as you feel comfortable doing your own taxes (more so if you own a business and need to file more complex forms), then TurboTax is a great valued product.
What's great about it: reasonable price for doing your own taxes
What's not so great: it's easier if you've done it before
