Difficult to review

A good program without doubt.
It is frustrating to review specific forms and worksheets previously completed.
For instance reviewing Schedule C is frustraating. You would think that hitting Edit on the summary page would take you to Sched C. It is a pain and not intuitive.

Simple easy to use step by step instructions. Even a fool like me can follow along and enter everything in no time
What's great about it: simple, easy to follow and no mistakes
What's not so great: none that I've found!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo tax for years. I am a bookkeeper and love the ease of use of Intuit products. More professional than other products.
I like the fact that if a person needs an assist they can get it. Disclosure - I have never had to use that option. I have used the "learn more" option and that has been helpful at times.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate.

Whew! Taxes are done at last!

Turbo tax made it easy to enter investment information. It was nice to be able to alternate between the Step-by Step method and viewing the files.
What's great about it: Turbo tax does all the behind the scene calculations which makes it easier
What's not so great: I wish entering K-1 forms was easier!

It walks you through in plain simple language, explains everything, help is always accessible, and double checks it at the end. You couldn't screw this up if you tried. Although the security measures at the close of filing may get a little tedious, it's for our own good. So I'm pleased that Turbo Tax makes every attempt to maintain a secure transaction and protect my identity. The commercials are right on point.
What's great about it: Bite size chunks makes taxes easier to tackle
What's not so great: Paying $35 to have what I owe taken out of refund.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

great product, had to do a search for the ip pin location. good help screen though.
bump to pay for state download was cumbersom and did not specify an ach routing number. it would be nice to have the state download included in the package price.
