Worry-free! Step-by-Step!

We love using turbotax software. The easy to follow instructions and review for federal and sate returns makes this software amazing!
What's great about it: Worry-free! Step-by-Step!
What's not so great: lots of steps!

Great support

Turbo tax is great. Support is fantastic. The only thing I the CA state LLC filing is always the same with out any wizard or guidance on the LLC fee I had made mistakes the last two years. This year I took my time and got it right, but still think they should have a common mistakes or wizard function tool for it.
What's great about it: tech support is always knowledgable and understands how things work.
What's not so great: no wizard function for state LLC.

The 1099G was confusing to fill out I recieved a 1099g with only box 2 filled out, and your form didn't have the form to fill out by box in the step by step directions

Fast Input

I have used turbotax for many years. I like how it get info from previous years and compares the data. . Once you fill in the Fed info the state tax is almost done. This year I had energy credits and there was no state form EC so It had to be filled out manually but turbotax stated at the end I needed it to file.
What's great about it: ease of stepping thru the menu
What's not so great: Some directions were a little vague

Easy and Fast

I really don't have any complaints. This was my first year using TurboTax, as it was recommended by a friend. I knew I was going to need something to help me out, as I'd worked three jobs in two states this past year, so I would something to make sure I didn't miss anything. TurboTax did exactly that. As a younger person, a lot of sections didn't apply to me like collecting investment income, but they let you move through unnecessary sections quickly with simple yes or no questions about your situation. Will definitely use again.
What's great about it: Explanation of where to plug in numbers in from forms, live tracker of your refund/amount due
What's not so great: Maybe too thorough for my humble situation

Amazingly easy... even for me!

I'm not a complicated filer. Probably like 90% of tax filers. This product is reasonably priced, easy to use, works as designed, and gets me to the desired outcome... filing my tax returns!
What's great about it: Features walked me through each step. And carried forward past year's return information.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE 2005. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN EASY TO USE.
What's great about it: EASY TO INPUT INFORMATION IN EACH CATEGORY.
