Clear Direction

Excellent! This was my first time to use TurboTax and it was a great experience. I loved how it would import and input the needed information. I saved time and money!
What's great about it: It was easy to follow the instructions and fill out the needed information.
What's not so great: There was not a specific category for donating food items.

Return filing easier

What's great about it: Comparisons to prior years, easy to make changes, adjustments;helpful informaion easy to get to.

Disappointed

In some of the Previous versions I could choose "over ride" as I'm an experienced tax person; but I could not do so this year without the "flashing" light on the number squares. There is not hint if a vehicle is depreciated out and you put it back in business that it should NOT BE depreciated all over again. It was not sold or traded and it took over 4 hrs., even looking on line for help thru intuit, etc. with no precise answers! I got so fed up I went to bed...when I woke up I decided to change some numbers to make the depreciation zero - no matter what, by changing other Sched. C forms and it fianlly worked! Yay! Your program "hints' are helpful but the HELP button should say, not everone needs to take depreciation and give some explanation! My only over complaint was on the AMT refunds, payments, and how to figure the AMT depreciation.
I read up on it elsewhere and finally tackled that problem as I could find nothing relating to my problem in your on-line question and answer link. Thank you.

What's great about it: Moves from form to form or back to auto help easily
What's not so great: AMT carry overs and depreciation were too difficult; not explained well

Great product

I have been using the product for years and the ease of use and great product design has never failed me.

Eases the TAX Prep Pain

Been using this product for 30+ years. Always makes a PAINFUL process navigable. My confidence is through the roof knowing I'm meeting the IRS requirements without complication. I keep detailed records that Turbo Tax imports, making it even easier! I'm NOT a tax expert, but TURBO TAX makes it easier than taking all my documents and records to one - when I did use a tax expert, it cost me $$$ AND was audited. Turbo Tax leaves me feeling confident about self-preparation!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, able to jump around if necessary
What's not so great: Occassionally needs more detailed explanation

So Easy
