what happened this year?

three times while using the program is froze up in calculate mode. Twice this occurred during the file the return section and once in an earlier section. The first time it happened I lost almost all the info I had put in. After that I saved multiple times. Each time this happened I had to use task manager in windows 7 to shut the program down.
What's not so great: program not working correctly

Totally surprised!!!!

I've used Turbo Tax 2 years in a row and I think it is very slick and easy. I recommend it to friends and family. The interface is very straight forward and clearly written. No more outrageous fees for accountants.
What's great about it: Straight forward, easy to go back without fear of losing info

Long Time Friend

I just finished my 11th year of doing my taxes with Turbo-Tax. I wouldn't even think of tackling this job without them. It's quick and easy to navigate, and also provides you with insight as to why you should or should not do a specific entry. I'm a procrastinator, but never feel any pressure that I'll miss the deadline. That's how confident I am with this product.
What's great about it: Being able to locate and review specific pages of the return
What's not so great: I'd like to see more of the business expense info carried over from year to year

Federal e-file issue

I tried 11 times over a 12 hour period to e-file the federal return. I kept getting an error message and the return did not transmit.
What's great about it: Easy once it went through
What's not so great: Took several tries to transmit

This program was very easy to follow. It took me a little while, probably because this is the first time I've filed taxes. I am happy with my refund.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax really did take me through everything step by step
What's not so great: I wish I could have stopped and saved if I needed to leave the program for a few hours.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Finally Finished!! Whew!!

We've used TurboTax for years. We tried a different product last year and came back to TurboTax. It's ease of use and clarity are great!! We'll be sticking with TurboTax from now on!!
What's great about it: Clarity and ease of use.
What's not so great: Jumps back to overview screen instead of moving forward.

This software is so easy. Do baby steps buy Basic.
What's great about it: 95 % was great
What's not so great: 5% got into loop and took 2 hous to fix, entering 1099 Misc. Made it appeared we owned a business. Started Schedule C
