best ever...20 years using the best Tax Prep!!!

I'm a veteran Turbo kid. My Dad used it for years, got me using it. After years of accountants who just didn't understand my ministerial status....then my sole proprietor status...I found TurboTax to be a great way to get it right....and to adjust the report to my service oriented work as a Massage Therapist. Accountants just don't get that I count in ounces of EXPENSIVE massage cream...not paper clips!!!
My brother and I have wondered at what point TurboTax will surprise us with a loyalty award!!!!

The car tax/personal property interview is very confusing for those of us who file schedule C....after all, we purchase a special edition that should say, "you have taken your car in your schedule C and cannot take it here."
Thanks for a great product!!!!
What's great about it: Very flexible...take the tour, or do your work...rewards experience
What's not so great: car tax/property tax between Schedule C and Personal needs to correlate.

TurboTax is still easy to use. Unfortunately, I really miss the chat person via the software answering the questions and the on-line chat person via text conversation. You should change that commercial. The FAQs and advice from OTHER users are not sufficient enough. The instant assistance and quick answers are missing. I had to look for answers online and call IRS but to no avail. It really lowered the value and expectations of what I have come to know as TurboTax Quality.
What's great about it: Still Easy Step by Step

Turbo Tax makes it easy

The fact that I can skip right to the forms I know I need or have TurboTax walk me through everything is the best part.
What's great about it: Lots of support if you have questions or run into a problem.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

OK for basics, but frustrating

Program doesn't always make the right choices and it's hard to find the questions that created various answers. Had to over-ride some figures.
Also, previously one got 1 state free. This year it's not free and pretty expensive. My state can be confusing, but I'll go it alone from the state's website instead of paying that much. Just can't afford it! It's a shame that the package doesn't explain this change.
What's great about it: General guide is great
What's not so great: Automatic actions not always right

Every year I have to go through this, at least Turbo Tax makes things more bearable.
I like modeling the numbers and seeing "What If"
I can see where to put money in next year, like an IRA.

Not so happy this year

Frustrated this year by a few things. Mainly the health section of the personal would never function correctly. It kept locking up saying "Processing...." After an hour and half on the phone for tech, they couldn't tell me how to correct the problem. I finally just entered all the info myself. BUT, theres more, then it kept giving me an error on review that said I didn't answer all the health questions and it kicked me back to the "processing...." error.... GGRRRRrrrrrrr.......
What's great about it: Its easy to make edits to your forms if you missed a receipt or something.
What's not so great: Some of the sections require you to answer the same questions over and over again if you have to go back and correct.
