Simplify the Tax Code to make Turbo Tax Awesome!

Turbo Tax does so many calculations behind the scenes it can be tough to sort out the reasons why.... It mostly is the fault of an overly complicated tax system - Turbo Tax tries not to overwhelm the user with all the "stuff" required...
What's great about it: The product has been consistent for many years- easy to use
What's not so great: The crazy tax laws that Turbo Tax must sort out...

Using Turbo Tax for fifteen years

Turbo Tax continues to be a reliable and economic means of filing my taxes. I foresee continuing to use Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: Accurate and Easy to use

Going Manual Next Year

TurboTax is getting less and less friendly each year. It is just not intuitive enough, that is, it should take your last filed return and intuitively use it as a TEMPLATE to plug in all the new numbers, thus avoiding all the extra 100,000 questions and hours of reading through forms and nonsense that has nothing to do with me. It misses so many items in Deductions that I have to go back and manually put them in via the forms - I might as well of done it that way from the beginning and probably will next year. I remember being very frustrated with TurboTax last year and this year it's even worse.
What's great about it: Auto-Calculaton
What's not so great: Intuit Product is not Intuitive Enough

NJ Other Wages

Using TurboTax this year as a Nj filer has pushed me in the direction of using a CPA next year (after doing my own taxes for 30 years the last 17 of them using Turbotax). The Nj return section seemed like an afterthought (i.e., W-2 "Other Wages" section was horrific) that was designed by a different company and provided an inferior experience as compared to the Federal return which was generally pretty good. And this is after the (in)famous price hike by pushing the business features out of the Deluxe version and into Home and Business. Meh
What's not so great: No guidance of any help for nj "other wages" question regarding NJ W-2

What happened to the PDF?

Have the "Print to PDF" show figures not little boxes. The PDF is useless.
What's great about it: Worked like last year
What's not so great: The PDF just has a series of little boxes instead of numbers! Useless to save as a PDF.

Every thing went OK
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Look for any ways to even make it easier.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worst Product in 15 years

This years program is full of bugs. It didn't correct forms, didn't have the forms needed. Complete waste of money. I should have paid a tax professional. It would have cost the same and been done correctly.
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Didn't have all the forms needed, errors when changing information
