Very Helpful!

It has been many years since I used Turbo Tax. I recently saw that it was rated better than competition, and my tax situation changed this year, so I thought I would give it a try since the competitor could provide the software I needed in a download method. I am quite please, and will stay with Turbo Tax for a while.
What's great about it: I thought the program was very intuitive. As I went through the interview, I was able to quickly get caught up to speed.
What's not so great: I believe there should be an option to get Business (S Corp) and Home software at a discount.

The extra info (in blue) that I can click on explains questions with more detail. Best tax program I have ever used.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, step by step instructions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No complaints BUT: Please enable continuous scrolling (other than just scrolling with the bar on the side of the screen) within the software. That's all, thanks.

Started Online finished with Software

Been a user for many years. Online this year and last. Hard to remember from year to year the changes that might have been made. But, this year all went well until I tried to make some line edits based on my tax situation. Couldn't make the changes without the software version so off to Staples I went 3 days before the deadline. All is good now! :-) Still paid, oh well gotta make money to spend money. I would like to see some TAX PLANNING software. It would be interesting to be able to run different tax scenarios so that one could possibly attempt to manage their tax situation. Just say'n. Thanks. See you next year.
What's great about it: Improved Connectivity and Server Response
What's not so great: Inability to Edit Forms with Online version had to purchase Software 3 days before deadline.

Good Job of Working Through A Very Complicated Tax

Turbo Tax helped me make it through a tedious and difficult tax return. We still wound up paying federal and state, but it would have been worse without Turbo Tax. I never could have done it by hand - the tax code is just too damned complicated. I consider myself a relatively well-educated person, but I was completely baffled by some questions that were posed by the tax forms. Turbo Tax helped me get through those issues. I was a little disappointed that there weren't more or better examples in the on-screen help files
What's great about it: Detailed, Mostly clear and easy to follow directions
What's not so great: Could use some additional information in on-screen help topics
