K-1 Support is lacking

K-1 that are downloadable should transfer all pertinent information into correct portions of the return. Should not require additional attention....
What's not so great: pgm is not intuititive in the way it leads you into certain sections

Guaranteed Investment

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years and have never had an issue with this software or the customer support. Awesome and reliable product. Its safe and easy to use without the worries of the privacy violations or release of secured information.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easier, but missing key calculations / carry-overs

PRO: Much easier and faster to find and correct errors; that used to be a nightmare. Downloading investment info from brokerage account went smoothly and saved a lot of time. Very easy to e-file my return.
CON: There are some calculations that aren't automatically performed. Doesn't automatically check for all carry-overs from previous years. Granted, these calculations and carry-overs can be a bit esoteric, but why am I buying this software if it's not going to handle everything that an accountant could.
What's great about it: Easier and faster to find and correct errors and missing entries. Very easy to e-file securely.
What's not so great: Incomplete calculations and selections, and doesn't automatically check for all carry-overs from previous years.

Schedule C is a mess.

Turbo Tax Terriffic

Turbo Tax has been my choice of tax prep software for over a decade. It is improved every year. Very thorough with it question format. I always feel comfortable with my return. Highly recommend this product, especially to small business owners like myself.
What's great about it: Very intuitive. Very thorough.
What's not so great: None

Needs more detailed instructions

De Minimis instructions very poor. TurboTax does not direct the user to the correct location to make the entries.
NYC Unincorporated Business Tax instructions have virtually no useful explanations or definitions.
What's great about it: Generally Clear Instructions (with some serious flaws)
What's not so great: Some parts poorly explained such as De Minimis and NYC UBT

Great Tax Prep Tool

When talking about filing taxes I tell everyone about Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't print the Audit Defence reciept.
