Always improving - making filing easier each year

I've used TT for many years. Each year improves.
What's great about it: able to handle complex rev and exp categories w/o sending user to "help menu"
What's not so great: keep working on sources to download info from into tax return

Educational, know where refunds come from!

I've been happy for the past 10 years using Turbo Tax software. Over the years it has helped my get educated on the in's and out's of tax laws, what you can do and not do when filing. But Tax laws just keeps getting more complicated every year, as are my tax filings due to additions of my business activities, such as registering LLC's. I think where TT needs to improve is its library of explanations and definitions for the terminology and questions it asks of you during the process of filing. Some of the help answers do not go into enough detail and depth for the non-accountants using this software to understand thoroughly. Ex. adding formulas to the definitions such as "Cost Basis" in their proper context.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step instructions are clear
What's not so great: Terminology is loaded, requires additional research online to decipher meanings

What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax since my husband and I married in the 70's, I would recommend it to anyone.
What's not so great: absolutely nothing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

can import all the data from previous years? why question about AMT from previous year. also loss carry overs from previous year. Import and ask for review?
What's great about it: easy to use most of the time and transferring files was good.
What's not so great: Still confusion on where to enter info. especially business vs personal income.

Simply put, I've been using Turbo Tax for years and love it. However, this year I had to entry all 1256 contract transactions...this was quite cumbersome. I'd like for the program to accommodate these transactions in the future...it's still a simple download from the Broker/Dealer

I find Turbo Tax very easy to use and like that for areas that I am familiar with I can do it myself but if not sure I can select the system guide me. I also assisted a coworker in amending his returns and found it relatively easy to do!
