By the time I gather all my information to take to someone to do my taxes Turbo has completed the taxes for me. It tells me all that I need.

Easy Peasy

I have used TurboTax for several years now and it only gets better. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to itemize deductions. TurboTax is the most affordable and reliable tax expert I have ever used.
What's great about it: This program walks you through everything and provides easy to understand answers to questions.
What's not so great: It doesn't read my mind.

Get more specialized

As a pastor/clergy I am always wanting to clearly see where to enter my Housing Allowance and where it is shown on the forms, which is not subject to income tax, but is for Self-employment Tax (for Social Security purposes). I know I entered it, because it figured a Self-employment Tax amount of about $500, but I couldn't see where it was entered on the forms.

Better and Better

It amazes me that this software is so easy to use. I stopped using it when I started a business because I thought there would be so many complicated areas that it wasn't possible to put that into a do-it-yourself software package. Turns out that I wasted a lot of money on "professional fees". I was giving them all of the information - I took that same information and bought TurboTax that included a small business. I have been so happy with this product. The best thing is that I can do it at my pace.
What's great about it: So easy
What's not so great: Wish I would do a better job of organizing

Easiest Tax Prep Ever

TurboTax is amazing. While my tax return hasn't gotten any less difficult using TurboTax to fill out my return has gotten easier. As a long time TurboTax user I am amazed at the improvements every year to the program. The question format makes it so easy to enter the information. All the correct forms are filled in without me doing the tedious work of putting in all those numbers myself. And for someone like me who has a number of forms that have to be filed but don't really have much on them it is a real money saver over going to some tax preparation place where they charge you by the page. And doing the state return almost simultaneous it is a real time saver.
What's great about it: Love the question format for filling out the return. So easy.
What's not so great: If you leave the return and start again later sometimes it seems as if you are in a different location.

Easy as Pie

I started a new business as an independent contractor and Turbo Tax walked me through all the business sections with ease.
Pop up screens with extra explanations were fabulous as well.
