Excellent Software

Great experience filing my taxes using the Windows (10) version of the Turbo tax software.
What's great about it: Works really well, quick, easy, removes the guesswork.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The BEST tax preparation software...since the 90s

I've been using TurboTax since the 1990's. That in itself speaks VOLUMES about how I like the program. It always asks for everything the IRS needs and always looks for every possible deduction available. Over the years I have gotten 10s of thousands of dollars back in refunds that I know I wouldn't have gotten if I prepared my taxes, and certainly less of that would have been in my pocket if I had someone else prepare them. Simply put, TurboTax ROCKS!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use and very thorough
What's not so great: I can't think of any!

Make sure you pay attention!

I filed my taxes in 2014 and then had to file an amendment due to an unanticipated K-1. I used TT to file the amendment. When TT transferred the information to my 2015 return, it didn't pick up the amendments from the 2014 tax return and I didn't catch the fact that it didn't before I submitted 2015. I assumed that it transferred the amended tax return information correctly into 2015 but it didn't. Now I have to file another amended return to correct the incorrect information that was transferred in from 2014. I'm partly to blame for not double checking it but thought it was more automated than what it actually is.
What's not so great: Let me submit my return while some items "Needed Review"

Only Tax Package To Use

I've used TurboTax for many years and will continue to do so as long as it exists. It's simply the best and easiest to use product available, no questions asked!
What's great about it: So easy to use, thorough, makes sure there are no mistakes
What's not so great: NONE!!!

Always correct and exact

Have been using Turbo Tax for probably 8+ years but never appreciated them until I did my dad's taxes for 2014. Decided to use the "walk me through" on each part of his tax return and found out that his CPA had done his 2013 taxes wrong. Was able to refile his 2013 taxes to get a FULL refund of his taxes he paid because he was elderly and had a chronic medical condition. Turbo Tax is very efficient...much more than my dad's CPA.

State return cannot be printed for filing.
This is February and you don't have the forms approved for filing. I can pay your fee and file electronically - how does that work. If you cant have your paper form available, I should be able to file electronically with no fee or a small fee.
