Problems encountered

1. There is no option for 'pay by EFTPS.' After I completed my return I got on EFTPS and paid both of my due with return and my 1040ES payment due April 18. There is no option to select 'pay with EFTPS,' the only options are pay by debit, pay by cc, pay with check. Ultimately it wanted to print my 1040 voucher and all the 1040 ES's which I did not need.
2. Had an issue with by Schedule C auto expenses. I never have depreciated my auto, ever. I always just use the business mileage calc X the mileage rate.. This year I sold my auto and purchased a new one. I tried to enter all that in TT but there was no place to say "I paid cash for this vehicle and did not have a trade in.' There also no place to enter that no depreciation was ever taken, so this was just a bookkeeping entry that a different vehicle was purchased and the business mileage used. I just wanted to note that I had a different vehicle. Ultimately I gave up, went back and took it all out, and filed the return as if I still had the old auto. Please do something with this part of the process as it doesn't work.
3. Need more options on questions. 'None of these apply' should be on all questions.

there are glitches in the software

There are glitches in this year's software that were not in previous years. Quality of software has gone down. Will be seeking different software next year..

Saved me Thousands!

I have used Turbotax to prepare my personal and business tax returns for many years. I have saved thousands of dollars in professional fees, and have been able to resolve unique tax situations through the step-by-step process and available help resources in the program. There are versions of the program available for all levels of users, providing tax return platforms from the most basic to the most complicated. I would highly recommend Turbotax to anyone!
What's great about it: Maximizes deductions in a user-friendly step-by-step environment.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Import from QuickBooks Online does not work

Made it Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years and the product is excellent. Even as my tax situation has become more complicated, the Turbo Tax products have allowed me to complete the process with relative ease.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the instructions and complete the process
What's not so great: Cost - Intuit has increased the cost of the software and not included free state filing.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Fast, Easy, and Comprehensive

Used this to file a complex return. Includes stock transactions, rental properties (out of state), consulting work, and W2 income. Plus a spouse who lived overseas. Worked very smoothly. Efiled fed return and printed state returns. Caught many tax credits and deductions. I've used it forever and this was the best year ever!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, never crashed
