Easy To Use!

Overall, this year's input was relatively easy. I had one challenge with determining whether I should do the separate Net Operating Loss worksheet, the result of one of Turbo's questions without clear explanation. After doing an IRS search, I learned that my loss was offset by my other income and so did not require completion of the form. Turbo should have made this clearer. Otherwise completing my return went relatively smoothly.
What's great about it: Pretty straight forward questions to answer with one exception.
What's not so great: Locating some of the detail on the forms.

That was easy

Overall, I highly recommend this for uncomplicated tax returns with W-2's and 1099 income
What's great about it: very easy and detailed way to file
What's not so great: sometimes I would like more information on some areas
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast and Easy

If you are a first time user of Turbo Tax it may seem a little challenging with the legal tax language to manage around but afterwards it becomes easier and easier as the software will almost do all the work for you. Plus it sends them off electronically for you also. I have used Turbo Tax since 2007 and it has not failed me or disappointed me yet.
What's great about it: Just answer questions and put in numbers

Turbo tax is a Turbo blast

The instructions are easy to follow. I just couldn't find how to actually to follow throught with the e-filing. Can anyone help me with this? The 6 previous years that I used Turbo tax I had no problem with e-filing, what's up with this? Why is it that every nickname I have tried using, says someone else has used it?

Instructions are easy to follow except for the E-filing part. I can't seem to get the area for actually clicking to sent the return.

What's not so great: Not so easy E-filing process.

I recently used TT Home & Business, 2013 tax year (2013 is correct). The product worked very well, and found many items that I did not think of. However, at the end of the federal tax form, 1040, line 44, tax due, TurboTax miscalculated the amount I owed by $ 203.00. TT calculated that I owed $ 203.00 less than the amount shown in publication 17, or in the appropriate Tax Rate Schedule. I caught this before sending the return, & I filled in my own 1040. This happened last year also, 2012. Just wanted Turbo Tax to be aware of the miscalculation. Otherwise, TT worked fine. I will use it again, just check the final tax calculation. Thank you.
