Serious Bug in Your Program

Let me begin by saying that I am a computer scientist with a Ph.D. in an accounting related discipline. So that I do know what I am talking about.
This years turbo tax initially recorded my total income from pensions, on the page that shows income categories, but it then refused to carry one of the pension amounts onto the worksheets and the 1040 form. This also somehow caused my deductions not to be taken into account, so that, in the end I found it necessary to do my tax return by hand. I was able to override the total pensions amount (which Turbo Tax treated as an error), and once I did this, the deductions were taken into account.
I expect that others will encounter this problem as well, inasmuch as it is so basic.

2015 TTAX Review

A great tax prep software that has never failed me in preparing my Taxes. I haighly recommend it to friend and family.
What's great about it: I liked the ease of using TTAX. I have used it every year for the last 20 years

Excellent Home and Business

My wife has a small part-time business, and Turbotax makes it simple to file without expensive tax services. I have somewhat decent knowledge of taxes, but not enough for dealing with a small business. Thanks TurboTax for making the complex very simple.

Helped with Dividends & capital gains

This year for the first time in several years we sold mutual funds and Turbo Tax helped with gains and losses as well as IRA contributions.

Completely Easy

Once again thank you Turbotax for making this time of year as painless as it could be. The process the last two years has been much easier than I feared as my wife started her own business and I was dreading the slog through form after form and instruction after instruction. Hats off to your developers. I didnt go a perfect 5 because there is always room for improvement but come on, this is pretty darn good.
What's great about it: Made complicated processes easy
What's not so great: extra cost for the 2 states I needed; easy step hides the details a little too well

Forms need to be added to all levels of TurboTax

Since the baby boomers are the largest population using Turbotax, most of them have parents that have passed away and need to file tax forms for their estates. These forms are not even provided it the Home and Business package. The estate forms should be provided in all packages of Turbotax. You software is incomplete for baby boomers.

What's not so great: does not contains form 1041

Done At Last

Did all 5 business and family tax returns with relative ease. Have used product for years and never had a problem
What's great about it: Easy to understand and walks through topics
What's not so great: When category completed, takes you back to start of categories rather than to next category
