Fantastic!

I have been using TaxCut every year since I've been filing my own taxes (most of my adult life!). Has always been easy and stress-free. This year, my daughter encouraged me to try TurboTax, and wow, I did not know tax filing could be made even simpler. A wonderful, easy to use, straightforward tax program. It helped where I needed it and allowed me to move ahead on my own where I wanted to. Truly helps get taxes done easily and with confidence!
What's great about it: Intuitive and easy

Way to go TurboTax!

Got Taxes completed again with TurboTax. Way to go, more improvements means a lot of help especially automated tax statements from banks & Financial services firms. I wish all firms i.e. Payroll companies will be on it as well.
What's great about it: ease of mind, accurate, direct to the topic.

gets more difficult each year with IRS RMD etc

I had a lot of difficulty and did not provide some of the additional personal data requested--driver's license number etc as I thought it backwards to provide additional personal data under the pretense of avoiding identity theft.
What's great about it: step by step process
What's not so great: irs asking for additional personal information to stop identity theft is not logical

State titles did not show up in step by step wondered if they were there had to go to forms to check

PROBLEMS

1099-MISC : received 1099-MISC form from company for Life Insurance Premiums that the company paid but program does not allow for this to be handled without treating it like a self employed business. Major change form last year and a big problem this year. I have received this for for the past five years and have not had this problem.
Received a Schedule K-1 for a 401k investment but the program would not allow me to delete once I discovered that this is a not taxable event. Caused major problems and exposed me to possible audit. Not good
What's great about it: Good flow through the process.
What's not so great: Program does not allow deletion
