Other than the normal bureaucracy, all's well.

In general it was as pleasant as paying your taxes can be, however logging on to my account to finalize the filing was a time wasting ordeal. I don't know why I should ever have to pay to file my taxes, as a matter of fact, the IRS has access to all the files, why can't the IRS just fill out the forms and ask me to verify them? Paying your taxes should be painless.
What's great about it: It is good to have all the questions asked and answered.
What's not so great: The final account login kept failing.

Less than one day

This is my 20th year using TurboTax to prepare my income taxes. It's quick, easy, and always seems to ask the right questions. This year, I was able to get all of my taxes done in less than one day, despite the fact that I had a full-time job to account for, as well as two businesses - my wife's and mine. I wouldn't use any other software.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, imports data from Qucken, our accounting software
What's not so great: I wish it was easiter to review the actual forms

Federal Great/States somewhat lacking

Moved to a new state during the year. While I recognize that each state wants their "fair" share of income reporting, the program for one state was NOT data entry friendly. This related to the short & long term gain amounts. Each transaction had to be reviewed and "edited" #source of income - old state vs new state# and THEN the software took you back to the very top of the list. UGH!!! hard to keep track on whether I was on the 4th transaction or the 8th. I'm grateful that the investment management firm didn't do even more trades. Also, program didn't save the work you entered unless you pressed the "complete"/continue button. Even though I pressed the save file button. Very frustrating.

And I'll use Turbo tax next year as well.
What's great about it: Federal - great questions to lead you thru
What's not so great: For PY Resident adjusting entries cumbersome/time consuming
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

Great except a couple of suggested improvements

Foreign Pension - The State and Zip Code sections haunt you through the whole filing process, since Foreign addresses, as in the UK do not fit our format. An added work flow would help fix this problem. I note that there are many questions on this subject on the Web. Otherwise, this is a terrific Program. I have used this product every year - ever since Turbo Tax was introduced! Thanks you TT Team -:)
What's great about it: Very Flexible for completing segments - Easy Step by Step and a Parallel Forms View
What's not so great: Better education desirable for business related Auto expense deduct options..

took longer than usual

I've used Turbo Tax since it started and have gone through the changes, but have always been pleased and secure using this program
I was so pleased with Intuit that I even worked for them for a year in Tucson
What's great about it: was very helpful program
What's not so great: it just seemed to take longer than ever before
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
