Thoroughly filed my Taxes

It was easy, thorough, and I'll use Turbo Tax next year!
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough, and transported my identifying info from last year.

Easy to use...

I have used TT since 2003 when I started a small business. It has consistently exceed my expectations and has made me understand what receipts and paperwork I need to complete my taxes.
All in all this is better than going to an accountant at a fraction of the cost!!!
Good Job Intuit!

What's great about it: Flow is intuitive the "lead" me is dead on
What's not so great: In the review section some of the "questions" are not clear

After the IRS - ID PIN nightmare

After the nightmare with the IRS over the 2014/2015 ID PIN numbers (YES, I did shred it when I opened it and it said it was for 2014 taxes), then they send another letter with a phone number to "Tax Fraud information", and NO, you can't a person on the line, and NO, I'm not going to wait on the phone for over 30 minutes on an 800 line.
Turbo Tax has come through again. I received my software last night, entered the information for our 3 business' and DONE.

overall I would give it an 8 on a scale from 1-10.
What's great about it: quick and easy

8283 problem

Form 8283 has states that for donation of noncash property "If you need more space, attach a statement." Instead, TurboTax just attaches addition 8383 form. This fact means that there are many duplicate A,B,C,D, and E entries. Instead, there should be a continuation schedule produced.
I had to transfer all the information to a separate schedule in Microsoft Word.
In noncash contributions, the value option of "new purchase price" was not included, though many of my donations were of this variety.

Turbo Tax Home and Business

I did not have a good experience last year and, as a matter of fact, requested a refund because of all the problems I encountered with glitches and a complete mishandling of HSA contributions and distributions which would have resulted in losing nearly a $1000 on refund. I saw positive reviews for Home and Business for 2015 and took another shot. Except for not loading and starting automatically from the disc and having to "manually" update from Turbo Tax website, the process went very smoothly. Handled 1099-misc income without problems, self-employment tax, HSA distributions and even the American Opportunity Education credit without issues. I will be back next year.
What's great about it: much smoother than last year

What's great about it: makes doihg small business taxes easy for someone who is not number savvy.

Much better than last year

Even the state section loaded and updated without issue. I was planning on going to a tax preparer due to the experience with Turbo Tax last year. Nice to see everything was repaired and not malfunctioning this year.
What's great about it: Everything loaded without glitches
What's not so great: Asked a few questions more than once
