Nice and easy

One time I put some numbers in and my taxes went down , but when i went back in my taxes were up again. I forgot what I had put in so I must not have saved my input, unless it is saved as soon as you log out each time.
What's great about it: All the filing from previous years and comparisons
What's not so great: Not sure on what was saved.

Clunky - Not helpful

My biggest problem is that I wasn't able to use TurboTAX to compare my 2014 return to the 2015 return I created. I spent hours going through the forms manually.
The review at the end of the tax session didn't recommend 1 thing that made a financial difference to my return.
For the 1st time in 5 years I m going to purchase a competing product to test the validity of the results.
What's great about it: Finished my Taxes
What's not so great: Terrible searching, no recommendations. Not sure it is worth the money.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Had to pay twice??

There was an error with my AGI from last year, so my tax returns were rejected, and i had to redo my taxes all over again. This is fine, it was my mistake. I don't think i should have to charge my credit card twice though for a free service
What's great about it: Got my taxes done easily
What's not so great: Had to pay twice for using the service

too easy to enter information for costs or expenditures twice in different sections, between the inputs for home business, rental and personal.
What's great about it: save tons of math calculation, all the tax laws are already figured out
What's not so great: step by step format get confusing. seems to skip in formation input.

OK, But Troubles

The program handled all my needs. However, it allowed me to create two home office forms for the same office without me knowing and put me through an hour of misery trying to figure out why it was assuming I had two home office worksheets. This led to it showing me an error because I couldn't figure out and thus fix the problem. Also, I was unable to purchase an audit because it apparently could not connect to the Intuit website, even though my internet connection was fine. As I filed my taxes, I was so fearful that the filing would fail because I'd have to use my credit card to pay for state filing.
What's great about it: Handles Pretty Much Everything
What's not so great: Bugs Or Something Caused Annoyances

Easy As Pie!

I've used TurboTax for years. Can't imagine doing my taxes any other way.
I'm hooked!
What's great about it: Compare last year's return to this year's.
What's not so great: The look of the program changes from year to year. Takes some time to recalibrate.

Worked Well Local Return Challenge To Do

Software was very useful in doing taxes but it took some doing to do the local return due to RITA Sched J link safely hidden. Was able to do the taxes after the bumps. E-File took longer than anticipated.
What's great about it: Streamlined process for doing taxes
What's not so great: Lots of bumps - local taxes was not clear; cost
