Even less consistent, more bugs than usual

After 15 years of complaining about it, I am very happy that TurboTax remembers my mortgages from my business, home office, and personal deductions and doesn't force me to reenter them.
Unfortunately it still does this for cars. How many times do I have to keep looking up the day I bought a car? Seriously, you've been processing this car for 10 years now. Why do you ask me 6 times in the same process when I bought the same car, whether I use it for hire, whether it was traded in, and a bunch of questions THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE ?
Any why oh why am I given screen after screen where it tells me to go read my last year's return and get a figure from line XX on Form YYYY. TurboTax has been doing my taxes for almost two decades now, unbroken. I'm paying you to know the answers to the questions about last year's return. You wrote it!!
Furthermore, the help screens were nearly useless this year. * Many of the help links went to the wrong page, and I never could find help for some pages and fields. * Many of the help pages had a sentence restating the text on the screen in the exact same words without any further details.
And finally, many of the pages asked me irrelevant questions. For example, filling out charity contributions it keeps asking me for business miles. Copy Pasta ain't so tasty here.
There are new screens that completely lack instructional verbiage, which confuse the daylights out of me:
* why was I shown my 1099-MISC forms in the middle of personal, non-business section? And why did you say not to enter business forms here... which leads a person to remove the forms there, only to find that it's magic punchthrough and they just deleted the 1099s from their business. <--- confusing as all, and could be made easier to understand with just a word or two telling us why we're suddenly looking at our business 1099s after we have completed our business taxes and been working in the personal area for a while?
In short, it looks like someone did 2 hours of work and then tossed it at us without any Q/A on the product at all. TurboTax has never been good about consistency, but this year the product was nearly unintelligible. I was forced to print out the entire return and go mark it up by hand and then try to figure the magic incantations to make it fill out the forms right.
That's not what I'm paying you for. And after 17 years of this nonsense, I'm fairly certain that it would be less work to fill out the forms myself than to fight with this nonsense.
What's great about it: Actually remembered my mortgages from one section to another
What's not so great: Keeps asking me to fill in questions it knows and I don't
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

At times, it was difficult to understand what needed to be done. Needed to be more specific about each step. Completing the return and e-filing with the IRS was a chore.
What's great about it: e-filing, no mailing lots of forms
What's not so great: very confusing trying to follow all the steps
