Excellent Tax Preparation Program

I have been using TurboTax for years and find it to be user friendly and equivalent to sitting down with a tax preparer and providing the necessary records and information to them. If on a rare occasion I need to discuss an issue with a professional at TurboTax, I find that the representatives are extremely knowledgeable and all have a long history of tax preparation experience. Would not consider any other tax preparation software to prepare my Federal income tax return.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate through and understand
What's not so great: None

* Turbo Tax support team is very helpful
* When calling in the first time to Turbo Tax, the automated system calls you back when it's your turn. This is GREAT. It would be helpful if this was also available when you are transferred over to 2nd tier support (the tax experts) as the wait time was around 1 hour.
* There's a glitch on form 8960 when creating a previous year amended return after starting the current year
What's great about it: Helpful support team; User friendly product
What's not so great: Long wait times on phone; Glitch on form 8960

Why I continue to use Turbo Tax

I am now retired but used the Turbo Tax with Quicken (but not the Quicken integration) during my years as a Real Estate Broker. Never audited and feel I paid as much as Uncle Sam needed with no need to stretch the limits. Before using Turbo Tax I was audited twice and both times had a so called Tax Profssional do my returns.
What's great about it: It works, my previous year data is imported. The interface with my bankers and investment folks is great.
What's not so great: Still have trouble with dividends, stock sales, and interest
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

BEST VERSION EVER!

I RETIRED IN 2010 AND BEGAN TO DO CONTRACT WORK PART TIME. I HAD TO SWITCH TO HOME & BUSINESS VERSION IN 2014 TO GET SCHEDULE C FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
IT SEEMS TO ME THE 2015 VERSION IS IMPROVED OVER 2014, VERY USER FRIENDLY AND ACCURATE.
I WILL ALWAYS USE TURBOTAX TO DO MY OWN TAXES.

Made things very simple with step by step interview process.

Easy to Use

Once i gathered all of my tax information together it was easy to enter it into Turbo Tax, Using the ItsDeductable website was especially helpful. I like the fact that i can start entering this year's contributions now so it will be easier at tax time next year.
What's great about it: I was able to get my questions answered about charitable contributions easily.

Used Turbo Tax for years. Ministry/Clergy not fully supported with allocation worksheets.
What's great about it: Comprehensive guided process
