Section 179 carryover issue

Each year the same issue. I get a question for Section 179 carryover -- how much $ and a blank instead of taking it from last years return as a starting point.
Similar issue with entry of property taxes for home office calcs. It asks for the number again even though it is already entered in the property tax deduction section. Again, it should just insert the primary residence taxes as a starting value.
What's great about it: Its a good product overall and better each year
What's not so great: Section 179 carryover is not automatic nor helpful

Suggestion

Have used TurboTax for a number of years and generally very pleased with product. Two major suggestions (which were also made last year AND the year before, but still not accommodated):
1. There needs to be a way to alphabetize organizations under the charitable donations heading. We contribute to a large number of organizations. Hunting line by line each year is a PAIN!
2. You need to provide better tracking as to WHICH self-employed business the program is tracking at any one time. ARGHHHHH! VERY frustrating when there are multiple sole practitioner businesses in one household.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes Difficult Easy

Great program. Saves tons of time in that you can use it, stop and return exactly where you left off. The yearly comparisons are invaluable, they serve to make sure you didn't forget something this year that you did last year. To top it all, it saves me $700 in preparation fees!
What's great about it: Everything is there you need.

I have been a faithful TurboTax customer since 2009. I have always felt that my taxes were completed correctly with attention to every form that I had received in the mail. Basically if you received a form, you can find a place to plug the information into your return. That gives me a tremendous sense of confidence.

Convoluted, and confusing

Would have been nice to see and work on the actual form rather than blindly have faith that you are following what I need. Also would have been great if the questions matched the OPM Statement of Annuity instead of the wording on a W2. Last year could never print my taxes, nor the year before that. At lease this is the first time I have been able to print my Turbo Tax return.

File with Confidence and get Peace of Mind :)

I have a small business and have been using TurboTax for last 7 or so years. The step-by-step process makes me feel confident that I have received all my exemptions and haven't missed anything. Plus the software price is way less than having an accountant prepare. I do direct deposit to my bank and it usually get refund in a couple weeks. It gives you a sense of peace filing with TurboTax. Try it and you'll never use anything else!
What's great about it: Walks you step by step through return - No experience neccessary
