turbo tax takes the trouble away from me. I am relieved to know I am square with uncle sam. as they say, pay all you owe, but not a penny more.
What's great about it: i can sleep tonight
What's not so great: i always wait so long to do it..maybe march next year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes the task so much easier!

I wouldn't do my own taxes any more if it weren't for TurboTax. It is so helpful to have our investment information pulled directly from the source data and loaded into the correct forms. I like the step-by-step questioning so that I don't forget anything. Sometimes I can't find a good answer for a question, but being able to call and talk to someone under those circumstances is very valuable.
What's great about it: Carryover of all of the prior year data. Automatic transfer of information from financial institutions.
What's not so great: Sometimes the investment input doesn't exactly match what my company provides for filling out tax forms.
