I fill in the answers to your questions, your program puts it where it goes. I don't have to search and make sure my numbers are in all the spots they need to go.... and I don't do the math. I don't have to guess if I get the deduction or not. your program does all that... better than going to a tax business.
What's great about it: Concise, easy to understand, easy to fill out,
Pros: I moved

Irritating

I had an underpayment penalty of $40 on my MN return--had to print and mail the 140-ish pages instead of efiling. Other programs I've used don't have an issue with efiling with a penalty. Domestic Production Deduction form is impossible to fill out correctly without overriding certain entries directly on the form view side.
What's great about it: Easier than trying to do it by hand
What's not so great: Can't efile state with an underpayment penalty, and some forms are very difficult to fill out.

Can't see any better alternative than Turbo Tax
on April 15, 2016

I have been an independent contractor for many years and TurboTax has made preparing my taxes intuitive and satisfying (as satisfying as preparing your taxes can be). TurboTax has remained intuitive and smart-looking since I first used it about 10 years ago. I have not felt the need to hire an accountant to prepare (or verify) my taxes since I started using TurboTax. I can't see any better alternative than using TurboTax to ensure I am giving our government what is required, and getting what I deserve as benefits. Well done TurboTax!
What's great about it: It walks me through everything pertinent and gives dynamic feedback.
What's not so great: I am not an accountant (to verify if it missed anything).

Minor issue this year

I retired at he end of 2014 and have been doing some consulting for extra income until I turn 70. So I switched from Premier to Home and Business for my 2015 taxes. I am not sure that I received much extra value for the extra money. As in the past years I itemized deductions including medical expenses. The medical worksheet was fine but did not go far enough to alert me to the savings to be had by claiming health insurance premiums as part of my Business expenses instead of on Sched A. Also I owed taxes due to a large capital gain in December but your penalty review process made me manually enter the AGI by quarter even for capital gains items that you have the sell date for. I found that annoying and an easy fix on your part to make my life a little easier. I'm confident you will address this in future years in the Premier and the Home and Business versions.
What's great about it: Always easy to navigate
What's not so great: Penalty process too laborious, could be more automated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: I had trouble updating TTx until the 15th of April when it updated quickly and smoothly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Don't understand why TurboTax does not pull the details of my tax categories that I use all year in Quicken. I had to export to Excel and do manual calculations and then copy the results for Charities, Property taxes and Medical expenses into TurboTax.
What's great about it: Better than last year
What's not so great: A bit Clunky like most Intuit products

I have an insurance business with only 1099 income. Both the business and personal sections ask for this information. I suggest turbo Tax make it clearer when entries are to be made or ignored as a double entry.
What's great about it: Very good, overall
What's not so great: A few of the data entry descriptions could be more user friendly
Pros: I bought or sold investments
