Multiple States Plus Fed

I have used TurboTax for many years and have a number of state returns to do each year. A whole lot easier than any other scheme I have used. As for cons, since using TT for so many years, I do not even recognize the cons because I just move forward.
I usually prepare my returns over a couple of months. TT is easy to use in working on parts of the filing then skipping to another until the whole thing is done.
What's great about it: Easy to file other states
What's not so great: None

Another Year Done!

This is about as good a software item as the non-professional tax person should need. It can navigate you through most issues and provides some explanation when needed. It has served my business and personal tax needs for the past 10 years.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to navigate. Covers most everything.
What's not so great: Difficult to backtrack at times to make corrections & updates.

keep getting error on a NYC Real Estate and Rental forms. Specifically telling me that the email is too long.... This error is forcing me to hand write all the information from Turbo Tax onto paper forms.
What's great about it: Federal was easy
What's not so great: NY State forms do not link correctly and can't correct them

I wish I could have know how to move from the "do myself" mode back to the "guide me" mode when there were problems and unclear steps how to approach things

Gets better every year

Overall, Turbo Tax get's better and better each year.
What's great about it: Walk through step by step, with help screens if you need it.
What's not so great: For the novice, inexperienced, they may wonder why they're restarting their return each time an update is installed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using Turbo Tax for years! Will continue to use as it gets me maximum deductions!
What's great about it: Easy to use, and helps you get your maximum deductions!
What's not so great: Some of the language in the help modules is confusing, but feel most tax information is confusing

Used TT for many years, will continue to do so

This year my tax situation is a bit more complicated. I'm just learning how to use bookmarks to take me back to areas I've only partially completed. It's a nice feature. There should be a (convenient) way of finding out what forms TT does not include prior to purchasing the software. Not that there's ever been anything missing in my case, but I did come across areas that suggested some forms might not be there.
What's great about it: Tells me what info I need, prepares the return, and does all the calculations for me.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
