Good for home business

Overall, turbo tax is a great tool for personal income taxes, home businesses, and standard deductions. If you are using it for a home business, ensure that you go back through your deductions for the home business including utilities, repairs, and various expenses related to both your entire home, as well as your dedicated office/business expenses. This is especially important if you have used turbo tax the previous year and are importing information so Turbo Tax will help guide you. If you do not physically go into your home office, it will not calculate the correct deductions. Ensure that you have some understanding of the tax laws and any changes before using it. Otherwise, it is easy to miss deductions and information necessary to complete your tax return properly.
What's great about it: Guides you through the process for entering correct deductions for a home business and various expenses
What's not so great: Program does not prompt you to go back into expenses related to home business and easy to skip

Quick and Easy

For the most part this program makes tax preparation quick and easy.
What's great about it: importing of old records; walk through provisions; help sections
What's not so great: better explanation on some of the carry over provisions; cost for filing state returns

Unexpectedly easy this year

I have been using Turbo Tax for 12 years (or more) and this is the easiest it has ever been. I bet I could get my wife to use this and still get no complaints. Thanks a bunch.
What's great about it: went to the broker, got the data, added it all in automatically
What's not so great: didn't see it happen, could hardly believe it was all correct.

Dependably Easy and Efficient

Love the "Flag" option, so I could go back and review sections that I needed further clarification on.
What's great about it: Easy to use, consistently the same presentation,
What's not so great: Trouble Updating ~ had to update several times before it was successful

Comforting

I like to start my return and then add things as I find them. It was nice to have the program remember where I left off.
What's great about it: It was comforting to know that they have all of the forms that I needed. When I made changes, it was easy.
What's not so great: A little too much advertising for other products
