system continually reset values i had already entered to zero when i went back to review forms.
checkout process was pathetic
would not let me log into account, made multiple attempts to try and change password since system would not accept the one i have been using for years.

THE ONLY THING I WISH IT DID WAS TO TAKE YOU BACK TO THE ACTUAL PLACE ON THE STEP BY STEP WHERE YOU MADE THE MISTAKE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOU TO FIX INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL TAX PAGE. THEN IN THE STEP BY STEP RE EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS THAT YOU NEED TO DO. THE REST OF TURBO TAX IS QUITE NICE AS IT COVERS EVERYTHING AND YOU JUST CLICK, CLICK, CLICK!
What's great about it: LOVE THE STEP BY STEP AND ABILITY TO GO BACK AND FORTH FROM WHAT THE ACTUAL PAPER LOOKS LIKE.
What's not so great: IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING ON THE CORRECTION PART, IT DOESN'T TAKE YOU BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU MADE THE MISTA

Turbotax still cannot handle self employed who have varied income over the year. I found it extremely difficult not to over pay the penalty.
NYS MCMT tax really needs to be included in the NYS return.

Easy to fill out using the business/personal

This probably isn't Turbo Taxes fault, but all the new insurance questions were confusing. We have a deductible of $1000 but not high enough in the laws eyes. The process kept defaulting me to fill out high deductible questions. I finally figured it out, but it was a little intimidating because you never want to have failures in the check out process.
What's great about it: Very easy for a non- accountant person to fill out
What's not so great: High Deduct questions were confusing

Intuit Quicken Home & Business + Turbo Tax Has Allowed Me To Accurately Account My Business Activities & Correctly File Taxes All Year & Every Year Since 2003.

TurboTax continues to be my choice for doing taxes. I trust it to lead me correctly through the complications of the tax code.
What's great about it: Have used it for many years, it is easy to transfer and update information
What's not so great: The price of state filing is too high!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
