Not so bad!

Just seemed easier this year. Really like that Turbo Tax populates the fields from your last year's return--saves so much time!!
What's great about it: Ease of entering all those 1099s
What's not so great: Nothing really

I LOVE THIS PROGRAM HOWEVER PROPERTIES NEED TO BE EASIER TO INPUT, LIKE PROPERTY 1, PROPERTY 2, PROPERTY 3 OR A QUESTION THAT SAYS DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER PROPERTY TO INPUT UP TILL HOWEVER MANY PROPERTIES. ALSO, EXPENSES SHOULD BE EASIER TO INPUT FOR MAINTENANCE EXPENSES ETC. THE PROPERTY/RENTERS INFORMATION NEED TO BE EASIER TO INPUT.
What's great about it: EASY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
What's not so great: RENTAL PROPERTY INPUTS NEED TO BE NUMBERED, LIKE PROPERTY #1 1, PROPERTY #2 ECT. THE ESPENSES AND NEED TO BE EASIER

Problems with SS#; no refund State e-file

Married children who are still in school and dependents are a problem if they file any return with the same SS# on it, even if they check that they can be claimed as a dependent on parent's return. Couldn't get refund for State e-file charge.
What's great about it: easy to use and work through, asks key questions
What's not so great: Duplicate SS# lead to problem with filing; but couldn't find any of kids who had used SS# inappropriately.

I've used TurboTax for years and have always been satisfied.
What's great about it: the detailed step by step review of everything that is possible is very helpful and helps me not to forget something.
What's not so great: none

I e filed federal first, then went back later and e filed state. Turbo tax kept suggesting it would send federal a second time, even suggesting it would withdraw funds from my bank a second time and send them to the IRS. Only at the end of the process did it confirm that only my state return was sent.
What's great about it: Progresses easily from step to step
What's not so great: Turbo tax added a charge to e-file state return

What's great about it: Easy to use and guided interview make it a breeze
