Awesome way to report taxable income and maximize decuctions
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Sequence is not what I'd rank order
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great tool. Second year using and very pleased with ease of use.
What's great about it: Easy filing for Schedule F and Foreign Tax Credit
What's not so great: Cost is high for program with Business Tax Filing

I have used Turbotax for at least 7 years. It may be that I am getting older and wiser but it seems that Turbotax is getting easier to use as the years go by. I really like the product and its creators. Thanks!

We have used Turbo Tax software for years and have always found it to be easy to understand with great support on-line when we've had questions. The e-file option is great and worth the fees for the state. Having the audit defense support greatly relieves the stress associated with taxes. Would recommend to all.
What's great about it: Easy to follow prompts
What's not so great: NONE

Turbo Tax is the BEST!

For the past 8 years, after retirement, I've worked as an independent contractor; permanently retiring in Nov. 2015. For 2016 with SS fixed income, I probably will not need the Home and Business TurboTax any longer.
Thanks for the memories, TurboTax! I've Used Turbo Tax for the past 8 Years!
What's great about it: Self employed since retirement. Easy steps to follow.
What's not so great: Not a one

Generally good, but some gaps

Generally a very good program for personal taxes. The business aspect (I had to pay for a household employee) wasn't any better than filling out forms by yourself. There was no help on things like "Social security withholding" - you have to do all the research yourself and put a number in.
What's great about it: Ordinary tax help is very good
What's not so great: Don't bother getting the business add-on

I'VE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS, EACH YEAR THERE ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT IS WACKY. I REMEMBER ONE YEAR WHEN THE FINAL FED RETURN WAS ACTUALLY OFF BY $3 VS. THE TOP SUMMARY PAGE & IF I HADN'T PAID CLOSE ATTENTION, I WOULD HAVE PAID THE FEDS SORT BY $3. THE THING THAT BUGS ME THE MOST IS YOUR PAGE BY PAGE DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO ROLL THRU EACH PAGE RATHER THAN USING THE SIDE SCROLL BAR. YOU ALSO NEED TO TIGHTEN UP SEVERAL PAGES SO YOU CAN SEE THE WHOLE PAGE RATHER THAN ROLLING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. IT'S JUST AGGRAVATING.
What's great about it: DECENT LAYOUT, STEP BY STEP
What's not so great: SOME THINGS JUST SEEM TO BE OUT OF PLACE LIKE THE $3 PRES ELECTION AMT
