It is the first time I used Turbo Tax. I needed stronger software because of a business relationship. Turbo tax was not as good as my previous program. I needed to wait through a support effort that was not effective and was required to call again the next day, with a sizable wait time, before I got a technician who developed a work around. I am still dubious the program handled my health insurance correctly.
What's not so great: Was quirky. Had to wait for a great deal of time to get a work around.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Refund! Refund! Refund!

I think next year will be better. I'm learning each year in how to figure things out. Nice to have this options!
What's great about it: pretty easy to use. only my 2nd time doing taxes on my own. had trouble entering some, but got it done!
What's not so great: you still have to know what you're doing.

Not quite as good as prior years

This year's turbotax wasn't quite as good as I've come to expect over the years. On review, it showed an error in the NJ return that wasn't an error. It properly handled a partial year in NJ but not in our new home state, PA, requiring manual entries for several forms to make the return correct.
What's great about it: Easy to input answering questions
What's not so great: Several wrong calculations. Didn't properly handle midyear move to a new state.

Great Software, with 1 small glitch

This is the first year I've seen this glitch. When you open a help, or go to print your files, the TurboTax screen disappears. I then have to view all open apps to pull up the help screen or to pull back the Turbo Tax screen. It gets very annoying after a while. I did not call Turbo Tax to find a fix, since I found a work-around on my own. I'm using Windows 10, Not sure if that has anything to do with the glitch. Otherwise, the software is the easiest to use in relation to walking you through the whole return and telling me what info to put in which field. This software far surpasses HR Block in this regard. Last year I tried to go cheaper and use HR Block software, but I wound up buying TurboTax again. Won't go anywhere else again.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to understand what info you need to enter
What's not so great: I experienced a glitch, when you open a help, the tubotax screen disappears

Make sure you buy the right version

Turbo Tax has been an outstanding produce for many years. I have been using it to prepare my taxes for 15+ years. I am a CPA, but I am not a tax preparer. Most of my tax preparer friends also use Turbo Tax. My chief complaint about Turbo Tax is that there are a lot of flavors (versions). Make sure you get the right one.
I run several businesses (which I own). Sadly, I need a totally different version of Turbo Tax to do the returns for it. Pricey. Still cheaper than hiring someone to prepare what are very basic tax returns.
What's great about it: pretty thorough, easy to use, can be fast to prepare return
What's not so great: can be slow if inexperienced user, make sure you buy the right version

Great tax software!!

Generally, very good product and I feel it is great for the cost.
What's great about it: Turbotax seems to improve every year and I feel it's highly dependable
What's not so great: Wish your instructions for printing select pages (i.e., for proofing or other checking) were simpler and clearer.
