Great Tax Software!

I have been very satisfied and have been using TurboTax for over 20 years! I have not had any significant problems.
What's great about it: Guides you through your return to make sure you cover everything!
What's not so great: One time I did not get good help with a problem when I talked to an Agent.

Turbo tax got stuck right in the beginning and could not download my old tax forms (also done with turbo tax). In fact it got completely frozen and I had to force quit to get anything to work. When I skipped the download turbo tax appeared to work fine-however, I had to keep going back to my old paper forms to fill in places that should have come forward automatically. Hopefully I did it correct!! Very disappointing. Turbo tax has always been my favorite software. Please fix this!!

Help section needs Help!

Overall, a great program. Seeking help on items that were new to me was extremely difficult. I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through questions
What's not so great: Asking questions - picked up on one key word in my question and it did not help!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Always a better program than H&R Block's, and I used to work for them!
What's great about it: Always simple, easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall - very good - Automatic charge to cc and loading of product caused months of problems. I will continue using Turbo Tax but please let me be in charge of my own computer etc.
What's great about it: Good structure from year to year - after 20 to 30 yrs of using it I can depend on it.
What's not so great: Automatic cc charge & product loading. Please-I want to go back to ordering the disk.

It is a pleasure to work with TurboTax. I did my taxes through TT Home and Business, then bounced it over to my accountant who made some very minor changes, then gave it a thumbs up!
What's great about it: easy, walked me through each step
What's not so great: needs a little more variability in the business sections.

Really gotten worse

Crazy that we can not sort big charity donation lists to match last year's prefilled names with this year's letters. Very inconsistent how some screens require questions answered and some you can just "continue" thru.
